Note: Our System is Back!

Warm greetings on these holidays! We hope you're enjoying them to the maximum.

On the 14th of November, we had a collapse in our primary external hard drive, which we use for editing and processing all our files. Even though we had a back-up disk, we couldn't continue with just one copy, risking to lose all the files. We started the back-up process from the files of the year 2009 until the date. Halfway on the process, the disk we transferred the files into presented an error.

As usual, on November 21th, we took our seasonal recess until January the 8th, continuing to work our pending jobs in a less intense schedule. We started another round of backing up and everything was going great until our computer had a breakdown. We tried solving this issue with all the tools Apple system provides, restored the complete system, when a diagnostic revealed it was the main hard drive the one that failed, and that damaged the external ones.

That same week we faced a sad personal situation, which kept me from speeding up on the reparation of the computer. We didn't expect a situation like this, having our systems up to date, and it was not a good timing for us, both me and my assistant being out of the workplace, far from computer and internet access.

Finally, this saturday the computer went back to progress, and now we have handy two digital copies of out files, we have a third disk backup, but in Puerto Rico. We have also started a plan of maintenance and equipment upgrades for preventing again this kind of event.

Today, we started the catching up process on the design sending, proofing, image publication, and product sending, among all the processes we use to do. We thank you so much for your patience and understanding for this unexpected situation. We'll be replying to the emails as soon as possible, and finishing everything that's pending. We'll keep on contact and up to date with the help from God.
